Please note, in the unlikely event that the client session is unable to go ahead, the following guidance details the refund policy.
I work as a Therapeutic Counsellor/ Psychotherapist within the United Kingdom and I offer a therapy service which supports client’s who are experiencing anxious feelings. By E-signing the contractual working agreement you are agreeing to these terms.
Contractual working agreements have to be in place during our work together and to have this in place is considered ethical practice.
- It is my policy to request full payment for any session that is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Further sessions will not take place without payment being made for the missed session and in the case of pre-payment, a refund would not be given.
- Full refunds will be given if I have to move or cancel a session time that I have booked for a client.
- It is the clients responsibility to attend their online session at the agreed time. I will wait online for 15 minutes for a client who is not online at the agreed session time, after which I will end the session. Sessions that are not attended will not be refunded.
- If a session is paid for via stripe and not by direct bank transfer, the client will be refunded minus any stripe fee (Online payments are facilitated by Stripe which is similar to Paypal and stripe implement a fee both to receive and refund the payment- I regret that I cannot accept responsibility for these charges).
Additional Note: For any client attending sessions who repeatedly cancels or does not attend their agreed sessions, I withhold the right to make the decision not to continue with counselling/ coaching and to terminate our working agreement. The Counselling/coaching relationship is very much based on the consistency and commitment of both the Counsellor/ coach and the Client. There may be no therapeutic or emotional benefit to a client who attends counselling/coaching intermittently and therefore, it would be unethical to continue.
Thank you
